Very nice “golden era” Buffet Crampon Paris R13 series clarinet in Bb, serial number 80100. This instrument is in fantastic shape and will be shipping with a fresh overhaul from our repair shop, with the work to be done by our top clarinet tech, Audrey Denny. It's a wonderful instrument for advancing students or professionals alike.

This grenadilla wood R13 is in great shape. The wood body shows only light scratching and no major past damages. There is one very small previously repaired crack in the upper joint, which was expertly repaired and is extremely hard to spot. Only mild finish wear on the nickel keys, on the usual touch spots. It comes with its original 65mm barrel as well as a Taplin Weir 66mm barrel.

The clarinet was previously professionally owned and well cared for, with necessary maintenance performed regularly. Still, it has been some time since it was fully overhauled. To make sure it arrives to you in perfect playing shape, it will get a fresh overhaul from our shop, which includes full disassembly and cleaning/oiling, with all new pads and material throughout. It will be finely regulated for optimal feel under your fingers. All work is included in the price.

This is a fine instrument for students looking for an R13 on a budget, or any player seeking a nice clarinet without breaking the bank. We are offering it by itself, or with the option to purchase the matched A clarinet (from the same previous owner). By itself, it would ship in a new Protec Max series case, or if purchased together, the clarinets would ship in the Buffet double case shown in the last photo.
