HELP, I Want One!

This is a mid-60s vintage Buffet Crampon Paris R13 A clarinet, serial number 95827. This instrument was previously professionally owned and extremely well cared for, showing no major wear of note. It will ship with a fresh overhaul from our shop, so you have confidence that it will arrive in tip-top playing shape and good to go for a long time to come.

Like a lot of A clarinets, this instrument wasn't played as much as its matched Bb (more on that later), and is in tremendous shape. No nicks/chips to the body or tenons, not even much finish wear to the nickel keys, even on the touch points. There are no cracks or previous crack repairs to the grenadilla wood body. The instrument comes with original bell and a Taplin Weir 65mm barrel, and ships in a good Buffet Paris double clarinet case as pictured, with room for your Bb.

This instrument will get a full professional overhaul from our shop before shipping, with all work to be done by Audrey Denny. All new pads/corks/felts, with a precise adjustment, so that it arrives to you feeling like a new horn again.

At this price, it is hard to pass up. It's a great instrument for any student or “weekend warrior” looking for their first A, or professionals on a budget. We are offering it by itself, or with the option to purchase the matched Bb clarinet (from the same previous owner). The last photo shows the 2 instruments together in the double case. The serial numbers of the two instruments are just 2 years separated, and sonically, they complement each other perfectly.
