This is a vintage Selmer Paris Mark VI tenor saxophone in original lacquer, serial number 127517. If you are looking for a great playing VI in a lower than usual price bracket this horn is going to be very appealing. The body of the horn is in solid condition showing a history of honest play and some past repair. This tenor is an extremely colorful player and showcases an impressive presence and projection. It can be played in a very sensitive manner and it can also be pushed very hard if desired.  
 
The pictures of this horn tell its story the best. It has some history of past use and some some past body and solder repair. There is a notable re-solder on one of the posts supporting the octave key assembly. This saxophone includes the original Mark VI neck. The neck has also seen some repair in the past but has never been drastically abused or seriously pulled down. This tenor has all of the original key work and guards present. 
 
This saxophone came into our shop playing on a on its current set of leather pads and metal dome resonators. In order to ensure the horn is perfect before it ships it is currently awaiting a professional set up in our shop.The set-up will include a dissemble and cleaning followed by regulation of the key work. While the horn is apart we will also replace any needed pads and materials. Once complete the saxophone will be back in perfect playing condition.
