This is a 60s vintage Selmer Paris Soloist series mouthpiece for the alto sax. This hard rubber mouthpiece features the long shank with iconic scroll pattern. The hard rubber content has oxidized with time to a lighter brown color in spots, but the only physical wear of note is some scratching on the table, as seen in the photos. There are no teeth marks on the beak and the tip and rails are in great shape. It is table stamped a C** and appears to be original, with tip measuring .074”. A neat vintage piece for players looking for something a bit more open than the traditional C*.
