Berg Larsen
This is a vintage Berg Larsen 90/1 M metal mouthpiece for tenor saxophone. The outer body of the piece is in great shape showing normal cosmetic wear, but nothing too serious. Its bit plate does have a couple of shallow indentations from past use. The facing profile is in good condition regarding the table, tip and side rails. You can still clearly see the denim print on the table of the mouthpiece. The piece plays with a clear sound and a fast response. It does have a smaller tip opening so a slightly stiffer reed is recommended for best results.
The tip opening on the piece measures on the smaller side at .086”. This is in the neighborhood of a 5* in Otto Link measurements.
