The Popular 5RV Mouthpiece in American Series 13 Series
The Vandoren Paris 5RV mouthpiece has long been their most popular mouthpiece. It has become a standard all by itself. The Series 13 was designed specifically for American clarinetists using A440 pitch. The regular 5RV features a tip opening of 1.065 mm (.042") and a medium-short facing length. The Lyre model is slightly more open at 1.09 mm (.043") and has a medium facing length. The Series 13 mouthpieces are available in the Profile 88 beak.
