Selmer S80 E for Soprano
This is a slightly older Selmer S80 E for soprano saxophone. It looks like the piece has seen plenty of platy time in the past but still has a lot to offer the next owner. The outer body and beak are in good shape overall. You can see some wear left from the last owner around the beak but it is not too deep. The facing profile of the table, tip and side rails is in good condition. You can see some wear just beyond the outer tip rail.
These pieces play with a tight and consistent sound and response. Their construction showcases a square shaping at its throat and steady floor slope. The S80 keeps a rich warm sound. These E facings are great for the jazz players looking for a warm sound with plenty of control.
