Here's a real beauty: an all original 1948 vintage Selmer Paris Super Balanced Action alto sax, serial number 36049. Except for just a couple tiny wear spots, this horn looks like it was never played. In line for a full overhaul from our repair shop, it will come to you looking and playing much like it did the day it left the factory.

We don't see many horns from this era this nice anymore. The original silver plating is 99% intact with just a couple small wear spots on a couple touch points. There are currently 3 small dings, one in the tube and 2 in the bottom bow, which we will remove during our overhaul. It being a silver horn, they'll come out without a trace of ever being there. There are no other past damages or repairs, including no resoldered joints. The original neck has never been pulled down and is just as nice as the horn.

The silver is currently tarnished and a bit cloudy, but it is going to shine up like new during our work. We'll clean and hand polish the horn and all the keys, and replace all pads and material.

If you are looking for as nice of a Selmer SBA as you can, you won't find a prettier example. New pictures to follow once the work is complete.
