Superb Pro Player - Bargain Bin Price

This is a P. Mauriat PMXT-66RBX20 “20th Anniversary” tenor saxophone, serial number PM0402023T. The tenor is in beautiful condition and has only been played a small number of times at a couple trade shows and in our shop. It is currently in our shop awaiting a pro set up and will ship out in perfect playing condition with a deluxe P. Mauriat contoured case.

The 66RBX20 features rolled tone hole construction, key work to high F# with ergonomic front F key, blued steel springs and metal resonators. Its finish consists of black nickel silver plating with gold lacquer accents and lacquered keys. The tenor saxophones like this one are also outfitted with the signature Kirk Whalum neck which features extra supportive braces. The Anniversary notably features beautiful engraving with a vintage inspired sail boat and mountain scene as the centerpiece.

This particular tenor is in nearly new condition but does have a few light scratches from previous play testing around the body as well as a past repair around the outer bell flare. We tried to put a good picture of the bell flare blemishing in the photo spread, but it is pretty subtle and hard to see if you are not looking closely.

This tenor is currently awaiting a professional set up in our shop. The horn will be completely dissembled and professionally regulated with use of improved cork and felt materials. It ships out in perfect playing condition with the original PM contoured case.
