This is a New York vintage metal Otto Link ‘Master Link’ series mouthpiece for the alto sax, serial number FF38. This piece is an all original # 3 Link, with tip measuring .060”, small as was the norm when this piece was in production. The mouthpiece shows moderate finish wear for its age, but is mostly in great shape. The wear on the table has made it feel a bit uneven, so this should probably be corrected by your preferred mouthpiece tech, but it doesn’t need anything else. The original black bite plate looks great and there are no nicks/dings to the original tip or rails. The piece ships in its original box (rough shape) with original ligature and even an old school Otto Link brochure.
