Finally a company has given the player what they've been wanting! This is the new P. Mauriat System 76 soprano, featuring a one-piece body & neck design. There has been a loud call for someone to make a good one-piece soprano, and P. Mauriat has delivered.
When most companies switched to two necks on their professional model sopranos, it was nice to have the option, but what was sacrificed is the resonance throughout the horn that you can only get on a one-piece design. P. Mauriat took their popular System 76 soprano design and brought that back. This horn plays with the same tonal color and characteristics as the traditional System 76 dark lacquer, but you can really notice a difference in response and resonance on this soprano. The sound that starts in the mouthpiece and neck piece continues down the horn with no interruption, you can really feel it under your fingers.
As always we give each new horn we sell our full custom regulation. We thoroughly play-test every instrument after the set up, to insure they are playing at the height of their capabilities. The sax does come with our full one year warranty.
