FRESH OVERHAUL

Here we have a freshly overhauled 1950s vintage Evette Master Model Bb clarinet with nickel plated keys, serial #D20414. These were the intermediate, or semi-professional, model offered by Evette, and feature standard chromatic keywork for all registers of the clarinet down to low E.

This one is in fantastic condition considering its age, no plate wear, the wood grain looks very healthy, no cracks, and freshly overhauled by our own repair tech Josh Creekmore.

In the repair servicing all pads, corks, and felts were replaced, key action made to be smooth and easy, and an extra insert was added for bell stability on the bottom of the lower joint.

This one is playing great, ergonomically the keys are smooth and easy to glide your fingers over on the pinky keys. Intonation is very solid as well, especially in the low range!

Sonically, the Master Model plays with a rich, round character that becomes more pure and focused the higher up you go. The clarion and altissimo registers are very centered so you don't have to adjust much, making this a great choice for a pit doubler or a student looking to step up their sound from a plastic body clarinet.

This clarinet is playing fantastically, and to sweeten the deal we are going to include an Evette hard rubber mouthpiece, ligature, and mouthpiece cap in the case.
