Laubin Professional Model – Wood Body
This is a very nice A. Laubin oboe, serial number 845. The instrument was just completely overhauled in our shop. It now is in perfect playing condition and features all new pads, corks and felts. The work also included a high precision key regulation.
The body of the oboe is in excellent shape. It does show history of pin repairs done by a previous tech in the upper joint. There is also a small hair line surface crack along the top of the bell that was previously repaired. The bottom joint is in great shape with no previous repair history. All of the silver plated key work on the oboe is original and in fantastic condition.
