Warburton Metal A Series 8 Degree 9 for Baritone Saxophone - .130
Warburton 9 for Bari Sax
This is a nice Warburton A Series mouthpiece for baritone sax in a 9 facing. The 8 stamp on the shank represents the “8 Degree” baffle option on the A series model. Meaning it was the lowest baffle available. This particular piece takes the air in extremely fast and produces a very robust sound with a crisp and clear quality. A free blowing piece with not a lot of resistance. It was not as bright as I expected but it is at at all a dark playing mouthpiece.
The body and beak of the piece show a little bit of cosmetic wear in the forum of light scratches. Its facing profile also shows a few blemishes here and there but nothing major. The side rails and tip are very clean and with out major wear.
