Late Vintage Super 20 - Pro Overhaul

A very sweet horn for the pro player, vintage King Super 20 tenor saxophone, serial number 430156. This is one of the early Eastlake tenors. These models show case sunburst engraving on the bell keys as well as a single socket sterling neck with under-slung octave key. This one was last overhauled by George Bunk in the Saxquest shop and is a monster player. It takes the air in quick with a fat free blowing response. The key work feels nice and smooth under the fingers allowing for ultra-fluid movement.

The horn is almost in all raw brass at this point. It has a very clean look across all parts of he body. The body tube, bow and bow cap are all in great shape. This horn is also with the original sterling silver neck with under-slung octave key.

This tenor was overhauled a few years ago by George Bunk in the Saxquest shop. Since then it has been lightly played and very well taken care of. All of the Valentino pro pads and metal dome resonators are in perfect condition as is all of the cork and felt work. In order to ensure the sax goes out in perfect playing condition we will take a look at it once more before shipping.

These later Kings are a great way to go to get into a powerful gig horn while saving a ton of money. Ships in perfect playing condition with original King wood hard case.
