Doc Tenney Custom – Bullet Chamber
This is a later vintage Berg Larsen stainless steel mouthpiece for tenor sax. The piece was originally stamped 130/1 but was later worked on by Doc Tenney and modified to 120/1. Since then the piece has seen a decent amount of play time but all considered it is still in very solid condition. The piece was constructed with a medium throat opening and a bullet chamber.
This is a very smooth piece featuring an easy response and a powerful, flexible sound. It was tested in the Saxquest shop and plays very nicely with a 2.5 reed.
This piece measures .120 at its tip opening. It ships with ligature and cap.
