Yanagisawa 991 Tenor

This is a very nice Yanagisawa tenor saxophone in black and gold lacquer, serial number 00274336. The body of the saxophone is in fantastic condition showing some normal signs of past use. These tenors are very flexible regarding control and response. A great item for the pro player who needs a solid tuning instrument for use in a multitude of musical settings. Projection and sonic clarity are exceptional on this tenor.

Physically the body of the sax is very clean and has not seen much in the way of past repair. There is some lighter scratches around the body and a few hard to see dimples around the bell flare, but nothing too serious. The original black lacquer neck is also in great shape and has never been pulled down. This saxophone also includes a secondary Yani neck in gold lacquer. It is also in nice physical condition.

This sax is currently awaiting a cleaning and professional service in our shop. The work will include a dissemble and set-up of the tenor with replacement of all necessary key materials and pads. Ships out in perfect playing condition with both necks and the original Yanagisawa box case.
