Selmer SIII - Black and Gold - 2009

This is a very nice Selmer Paris SIII tenor saxophone in black lacquer with gold key work, serial number 74533. The horn has seen a healthy amount of play time in the past but is physically in tremendous condition. It shows no history of major past repair, just some honest use. The original neck is with the horn and is also in great original condition. Looking closely over the body tube, bell, bow and bow cap there are no signs of past repair. There is one spot on the upper body tube where a small area of lacquer is gone. All of the guards are also in good shape and have never been repaired.

The tenor came in on most of the original Selmer pads and materials. As it has been a while since the horn has seen some TLC this horn is currently awaiting a professional set up in our shop. While the horn is apart we will also replace any of the pads that are not up to our standards as well as replace all of the cork and felt materials.

The great looks of this horn will for sure make it stand out item. It should also be noted it is also an incredible player and features a beautiful, warm and focused sonic character. The key work feels smooth and ultra fluid under the fingers allowing for a positive playing experience. This tenor ships out in perfect playing condition with a fresh Saxquest setup and original Selmer zip case.
