This is a very nice condition Noblet France professional bass clarinet to low Eb, serial number 3171. This grenadilla wood clarinet is in fantastic physical condition, just needing pad work in order to be made ready to go. We are offering it as-is if you have your own preferred tech, or can do the entire job at a reduced price if you wish.

The wood body, both upper and lower joints, are in excellent shape, with no cracks or any previous crack repairs/pins. All tenons and receivers look good. The keywork shows typical finish wear, but no previous damages or repairs that I can spot. The bell has some dings and dimples, but both it and the neck are in good working order.

It has been some time since this clarinet was last repadded, and definitely needs a fresh overhaul. If you opt to have us do the work, it would include full disassembly and cleaning/oiling of the body, polishing of the keys and bell/neck, the dent work in the bell, and all new pads and material throughout. It's a significant savings from what we normally charge for all that work, and would leave the bass in perfect playing condition.

This is a great instrument for clarinet professionals and part-time enthusiasts alike. Once restored, it will do everything you need it to do and will provide years of enjoyment.
