King Student Alto

This is a classic King 613 alto saxophone in gold lacquer, serial number 298295. These old King 613 models are a favorite at Saxquest. They are very good players and are a great item for starting students or anyone looking for something very powerful on a budget. These altos are much more open and free blowing compared to the modern student alto.

This one is not the prettiest at this point but its body is in solid condition. It shows a history of regular play time and has a few small dings around the neck and body. But all that being said it does not show any signs it has ever received major body or solder repair in the past. As it sits this sax is still playing down to low Bb through leaks and key clicks. Because it has been a long time since the alto has been serviced all of the pads and materials are very old and past their prime. If you are going to do any serious amount of playing on this saxophone it will need to be overhauled first.

At this time we have a number of great vintage instruments we are selling in as is condition at lower a lower price point. This alto ships out in as is condition with original King case.

The case is also on the older side and is not in the best condition. Replacing would be recommended if you are going to be traveling outside your home with it.
