Guardala Super King – Jarry Custom .108
This is is a nice Guardala Super King for tenor saxophone in gold plate. It was more recently worked on by Jarry Custom and now has a tip opening of .108”.
The piece is in great physical condition around the beak and outer body. It shows some standard light play wear from past use but nothing major. The original bite plate is present and in good shape with no marks from past teeth placement. Looking at the table, tip and side rails you can see where the piece was worked on. There is no longer any plating left around the table.
This is a nice playing mouthpiece and it features a quick and smooth response to air flow. For me personally it played a little on the warmer side for a Super King. It plays with a ample projection and plenty of power.
