Selmer SII Tenor

This is a Selmer Paris Super Action 80 Series II tenor saxophone in gold lacquer finish, serial number 433588. The Series II has is a cherished professional instrument in the saxophone community. It is loved by pros and heavily recommended by teachers. This particular one is a earlier example, manufactured in 1989.

The body of the saxophone is in beautiful condition. It has seen some honest play time over the years but has no history of major past repair or abuse. At this time it has a few small and hard to see dings but has never seen any notable dent work or solder repair. The body tube, bow, bow cap and bell are all in nice original condition. All of the key guards and guard feet are also in good shape. This saxophone does include the original neck in excellent physical condition. It has never been pulled down.

At this time it has been some time since the sax has seen any servicing. As such it is currently awaiting a thorough set up in our shop. The professional set-up will include a dissemble and cleaning followed by precise regulation of the key work. While the horn is apart we will also put all new cork and felt materials on it as well as replace some of the pads in the in the upper stack. Once the work is complete this saxophone will be back in perfect playing condition.

This tenor ships out in perfect playing condition with a protec contoured case.
