1924 Vintage King H.N. White Series Soprano Sax in Key of C - Serial # 66467
This is an early vintage King H.N. White model soprano sax in the key of C, serial number 66467. This soprano was relacquered and repadded over a decade ago, and needs a fresh adjustment before it is ready to play. We've priced it low and are selling it as-is.
Despite its “newer” look, this soprano dates way back to 1924. It is in solid physical condition with no signs of past trauma. C soprano saxes were all the rage in the early 20th century, but fell out of favor in the 30s. They (and C tenors) have seen a resurgence by collectors and players in the last decade, and this one is priced to move. Pads are still in decent shape, but it was some weird regulation issues in the upper stack (including some squeaky rods) that would need to be ironed out.
If you are looking to pick up a C soprano at a super low price, you can't go wrong with this one. It has a unique look and is very good overall shape.
