This is a lightly used 10MFan “Black Widow” 7* mouthpiece for tenor saxophone in hard rubber. The mouthpiece is in pristine condition and has not seen too much use in the past. Its outer body and beak are in fantastic condition as is its facing profile.
The build on these pieces is designed to provide plays with a foundation for a very powerful sound. If you are looking for a straight forward hard rubber piece with a large baffle and a brighter character this piece will work great. This particular Black Widow plays with a robust free blowing response and a rather brilliant sonic character.
Though stamped a 7*, the tip opening on this mouthpiece measures a more open .113".
