The Model 460 is a red maple bassoon patterned after the Fox Model 660. This instrument is a modern “thick walled” design built as a compact, long bell model. The 460 can produce the power, projection, great intonation, and resonance associated with professional bassoons.

As these instruments are made to order, there are a host of options that can be added to truly personalize the instrument to your needs. This model comes standard with a body lock, right hand whisper key lock type III rotary, high A bridge with roller, high E key, crown on pancake key, and silver water tubes. Additional options include :

plateau key, left hand third finger · balance hanger · thumb Ab / Bb trill key · left hand Eb trill key · right hand Eb trill w/ alt C position · plateau key, right forefinger
