This May marks the release date of a new album for this modern saxophonist. The saxophonist has had a fruitful carrier and comes from a musical family. However the musician’s initial mindset was not in music but in law. In 1991 he graduated from Harvard summa cum laude and was accepted to Yale Law School. However he soon decided to follow a path of music after spending some time living and gigging in the New York area. The new release by this musician’s quartet will feature original compositions by members of the quartet as well as arrangements of classics by composers such as Billy Strayhorn, Hoagy Carmichael and JS Bach. A recent live solo performance of Carmichael’s Stardust floored the audience and the artist received a standing ovation by patrons numbering in the thousands.
