This saxophone player performed the American premiere of a famous and now widely-played saxophone concerto. The performance was on a very particular brand of instrument not in wide-spread use today. This particular saxophone ended up in a saxophone collection currently on public display. The collection also includes a saxophone from a famous sextet of the early 20th century.
