In 1977 saxophone icon and Miles Davis alum David Liebman released the record entitled “Light'n Up, Please!” The album was a collaboration between Liebman and another saxophone player/composer who's musical voice is very familiar to the musical ear, even if his name is not. This player has a long history of work with Van Morrison as well as the Godfather of Soul himself James Brown.
