Yamaha Custom 875 Alto

This is a Yamaha Custom 875 alto saxophone in gold lacquer finish, serial number 009689. These saxophones predate the current Custom EX line. They are similar in response and feel but are considered by many to be not quite as dark. This one in particular has seen a healthy amount of use in the past but is in excellent physical condition. It has a few very small dings around the bow area but it has never received any major dent work and has no solder repairs. The body tube, bow, bow cap and bell are all in excellent original condition. It includes a Yamaha M1 neck. The neck is in great shape and has never been pulled down.

This alto is currently in line to be professionally set-up in our shop. The set-up will include a dissemble, cleaning and a thorough set-up of the key work with all new cork and felt materials. Over the years the last owner of the horn had pads changed out over time as needed. We will also make sure any pads not up to par will be changed out during our set-up.

The Custom is a highly versatile professional instrument and is great for the pro player needing to be flexible. This sax ships out in perfect playing condition with its M1 neck and a good carrying case.
