This is a very nice Selmer Paris Mark VI tenor saxophone in original lacquer finish, serial number 131871. A fantastic playing instrument with a clean original lacquer look. The body shows off lovely original lacquer finish and crisp engraving. Like many of the best professional instruments out there it does have some honest play wear. There is no history of major past repair around the body. It has received no re-solders in the past. The original key work, pearls and key guards are all intact and in very good condition. This saxophone includes the original Mark VI tenor neck. The neck is also in excellent condition.

This tenor plays with a rich sound and is extremely responsive to air flow. It showcases an intense sonic character warm in color. The projection and smooth control on this tenor is absolutely exceptional. This saxophone is currently awaiting a professional overhaul in our shop. Our professional overhaul will include a complete dissemble, cleaning, key fitting and a precise set up with all new Valentino premium pad, nylon resonators, new corks and new felts.
