HELP, I Want One!

Selmer Mark VI - High F#
This soprano is considered a late era Mark VI as its serial number is within the range of the Mark VII, Selmer continued Mark VI sopranos, sopraninos, and baritones all the way until the Super Action 80 (1980). A high F# key can be one of the most crucial factors when buying a soprano in the modern age of a saxophonist, luckily one exists on this soprano and works fantastically. The Mark VI soprano is known for its clear, concise and edgy sound.  This one in particular is a bit on the brighter side with a strong presence and a tight focused core. It generates plenty of volume and exceptional projection.
This Mark VI has seen an active lifetime of use and performance. The body of the soprano is in great condition showing a healthy amount of cosmetic character for its age. There is no signs of it ever receiving major body repair in the past. No major dent work and no solder repairs. This soprano arrived at our shop with the majority of the original pads and factory materials. As the horn is due for some TLC it is currently in line in the Saxquest shop for a professional re-pad. This work will include replacing all pads, felts, corks, and materials while addressing regulation and a cleaning of the entire instrument.
This sax ships out with a fresh overhaul from the Saxquest shop in perfect playing condition. Does also include the original wood hard case.
