HELP, I Want One!

Otto Link – Refaced by Brain Powell
This is a Vintage Otto Link “Early Babbitt” hard rubber mouthpiece for tenor saxophone. It was originally stamped a 6 but was recently opened up to a 7* .105” by mouthpiece tech Brian Powell. The outer body of the piece is in terrific condition including the beak. These Early Babbitt Otto Links were made on the same mold as the earlier Florida Slant mouthpieces. They are identifiable from there deeply slanted beak and thumb print baffle shape bellow the tip rail.
Brain did great work on this piece and it now looks fantastic all around the profile. This piece plays with crystal clear projection while maintaining a warm core. A fantastic mouthpiece for the straight ahead jazz tenor player.
