Early Babbitt Super Tone Master
This is a very punchy playing Otto Link Early Babbitt Super Tone Master 5 for tenor. It was recently trued up and opened to .090 by mouthpiece guru Eric Falcon. The piece is physically in solid condition with a normal amount of cosmetic character for an older STM. The beak and original black bite plate are in great shape. Its shank is also in good shape and has never been damaged.
This is a surprisingly punchy player and is very free blowing. It definitely leans on the brighter side of the color spectrum and is a great choice if you are legitimately looking for a Link with a brighter “contemporary” sound.
