Otto Link STM – Eric Greiffenhagen Refaced to .115
This is an excellent Florida vintage Otto Link Super Tone Master 6* for baritone sax. The piece was originally stamped a 6* but was more recently re-faced by mouthpiece refacer Eric Greiffenhagen. The mouthpiece now measures .115” at its tip opening.
The body of the piece is in great shape as is the beak and shank. Part of the table shows some finish wear from use over the years but nothing too serious. The facing profile is very clean at this time regarding the side rails, tip and baffle area.
This piece plays with a very direct response to air flow while featuring a intensely focused sonic character. Its color is medium warm with very clear projection. A great piece for straight ahead jazz playing.
