There is absolutely no signs of major past dent work or other trauma to the sax. The bell-to-body brace, bell flare, and bottom bow are all in perfect condition, and there are zero re-solders on this instrument. The original neck has never been pulled down and is also in outstanding shape.
This sax came to us on a good set of pads and brown plastic resonators good pads and in excellent playing condition. We will also take a look at it in our shop before it ships as well. This Mark VI is a dynamic player, as you'd expect from a VI in this serial number range. Powerful and edgy, with a strong core that punches well, but even at max volume, it doesn't lose its center or color of tone. The strong sonic characteristics of the alto make it ideal for lead alto work as well as small group and chamber ensembles.
A world-class alto for the most serious of musicians. Ships with original Selmer Paris wood hard case. The case is also in outstanding condition.
