Naked Lady 108M Alto Saxophone

This is a pretty original Lacquer Conn DJH Modified alto saxophone made by Couf, serial number 90428. The DJH Modified was made by Couf as a stencils for Conn. These saxophones were superbly built and are incredible players. This one in particular was freshly overhauled by George Bunk and is now in perfect playing condition. The Saxquest professional overhaul included all new premium Valentino pro pads with metal resonators. It also features new corks, felts and a very thorough key regulation.

The saxophones previous owner took very good care of it and kept it professionally maintained over the years. The body has a beautiful original lacquer finish with a modest amount of cosmetic wear. Its body tube, bell, bow and bow cap are all in terrific condition. The bell flare is in premium condition as is the original neck. All of the key work and key pearls still have a nice and crisp feel to them.

The DJH modified shows off the classic Conn “Naked Lady” engraving on the bell. It does feature rolled tone hole construction with Keilwerth styled key pearls, high F# and an enlarged bell size. This particular DJH has a rich and robust sonic character and is quite free blowing. If you are looking for a horn with flexibility and plenty of power you are going to quickly fall in love with this alto.

This alto ships in perfect playing condition with the original box wood hard case.
