Meyer Bros – 5M Small Chamber
This is a very nice Meyer Brothers 5M small chamber for alto saxophone. The facing was touched up by Brian Powell and now measures .075” at the tip opening. Its outer body, shank and beak is in clean condition. The facing profile is in excellent condition after Brian's work. There is one very small hard to see imperfection on the outer tip rail.
This piece is a super smooth player. It provides an easy intake of air while producing a balanced response across the entire range of the instrument. The piece does have a slightly brighter sonic character can be played with a nice amount of bite when desired. A great playing mouthpiece ideal for the versatile jazz saxophonist.
