Martin Imperial Alto Saxophone

This is an old vintage Marin Handcraft Imperial alto saxophone in gold lacquer, serial number 113053. The Martin Imperial is a 1930's vintage sax. The design of the Imperial showcases the Martin beveled tone holes. The pictures of this horn tell its story the best. It has had quite a bit of history of play as well as past repair. To really do it up right the saxophone is going to ideally need a mechanical restoration before it is going to be ready for any serious amount of play time. If you have a favorite tech or want to do the work your self you can get into this one on the ground floor at a good price. As the sax is complete with all of the key work and neck it is also ideal for use as parts for other projects.

These old Martin Imperials are fantastic vintage saxophones and can be a blast to play when they are in good working order. This one is a project piece at the moment but we are selling it at a low “as is” price at this time. It does include all of the key work as well as the neck and a box case.
