Outstanding vintage BD Dukoff Hollywood metal mouthpiece for the tenor sax, serial number B573. This is one of the large chamber Dukoff's, not to be confused with the more commonly seen medium chamber pieces. It is in superb shape for its age, with typical finish wear but only minor indents in the original white bite plate. Originally a # 4 facing, it was later refaced by mouthpiece expert Brian Powell, and now measures as a 6* at .096”. This is the series of Dukoff most popularly played by Dexter Gordon, and it has that warm, full sound that you'd expect. Great playing piece.
