Vintage Hard Rubber Buescher-made Sigurd Rascher Alto Sax Mouthpiece
Excellent condition Buescher branded Sigurd Rascher mouthpiece for the alto sax. Rascher pieces are still in production, but back in the day, Sigurd played a Buescher sax with matching mouthpiece, and this is one of his early pieces when they were still made by the Buescher company. It is very much like the early Buescher True Tone mouthpieces, but with Rascher’s name on it. This mouthpiece shows no major wear of note, and only light oxidation of its hard rubber body. Tip, rails, table, and beak all look fantastic. The facing is original with tip measures .056”.
