Lawton 7 for Tenor .098
This is a nice vintage Lawton 7 gold plated metal mouthpiece for tenor saxophone. Like most of the good vintage pieces out there this one does show some cosmetic history of use, but is still in solid condition. There is a small indentation around the bite pad of the beak. The condition of the facing profile is also in good condition showing some speckled wear. Its tip and side rails are in good condition as well.
The Lawton plays with a super fast and direct response to air flow. A excellent piece if you are looking for a little power and clarity while keeping a relatively warm core sound.
The tip opening measures .098”. This piece does include the original slide ligature and cap.
