Otto Link Super Tone Master Double Line - TK .106
This is a vintage Florida Otto Link “Double Line” Super Tone Master for tenor saxophone. It was originally stamped a 7 but was more recently trued up and re-plated by Ted Klum. It is in beautiful condition and is a tremendous player as well. The outer body and shank are in great physical condition showing some standard play wear from past use. The black bite plate is in good condition overhaul but does have a subtle indentation from past use. Its facing profile of the table, side rails and tip are in excellent condition.
The mouthpiece has a smooth and very direct response to air flow. It keeps a very precise and consistent quality across the entire range of the saxophone. The sound is crisp and clear from low Bb all the way into the extended upper register.
