HELP, I Want One!

Conn Curved Soprano – Early Vintage
This is a vintage C.G. Conn New Wonder curved soprano saxophone in silver plate, serial  number 64248. These sopranos are special in the fact they feature key work to a palm F at a time when most other sopranos where only keyed to high Eb.
Fully restored these saxophones are tremendous free blowing players and are very indicative of the  jazz age. This instrument does not show extensive history of past repairs, but as the pictures show it currently has bent key work, guards and a pull down on the neck. It will need a complete restoration including body and skilled solder work before it will be ready for any playing. Please take note of the condition of the bent neck (21-23 ) The neck is fixable but is a project for an experienced repair tech.
While there is a decent number of things to be repaired on this sax the condition of the bell, bow, bow cap and bell flare are all excellent. This saxophone is also still in the original silver plate. It is currently in need of a good clean and polish but could be brought back to its true forum during the process of a professional overhaul. Picture (28 ) shows small area we shined up quickly with old fashioned elbow grease and a silver cloth. We did this to show the buyer an idea of what the real finish would look like once fully restored.
Please take a look at the pictures provided and let us know if you have any questions. This saxophone ships in as is condition. It does not include a case.
