Vintage C.G. Conn 10M Naked Lady Tenor Sax For Parts or Restoration, Serial #325336
Conn 10M Tenor
This is a vintage Conn 10M “Naked Lady” tenor saxophone, serial number 325336. Conn tenors like this one were made shortly after Conn stopped rolling their tone holes. These horns are considered to be good players but they are not as desirable for most collectors. Thankfully because of this they can be picked up at lower prices. This particular tenor has seen a lot of use in its life and is currently in need of a restoration. We are selling it in as is condition for restoration or for use as parts for a good repair tech or vintage enthusiast to use in other projects.
The pictures of the tenor tell its story the best. It was re-lacquered in the past and has seen quite a bit of past body repair and re-solders. Some dings still remain at this time. Its engraving can still be clearly seen across the bell area. The original neck with the saxophone is intact. Like the rest of the saxophone it also shows some history of repair. This saxophone is missing most of the original set screws as well as the trill G# key, octave key pearl touch and the tip of he bow cap. All of the primary key work are intact as well as all of the key guards.
This could be a great horn once more after some patience and a good overhaul. We would love to do it up ourselves but at this time the shop is very backed up. As such we are selling a number of great vintage items in as is condition at low prices!
Ships in as is condition with case.
