Big Bad Big Band Daddy
With a wide dynamic range, ease of tone production, and an edgy warmth that just won't quit, the Runyon Model 88 is a great fit for a big band section player. It's quite easy to blend with the section but when pushed for a solo, these mouthpieces can scream!
This vintage production tenor piece is made of black plastic, has a slightly longer shank than its modern counterpart, is stamped as an 8, and measures .093"/2.34mm. The body has minor scuffing, but the table, tip, and rails are immaculate. The shank is uncracked with no signs of fracturing.
No mouthpiece cap or ligature are included.
