Light Used – Yanagisawa TW010

This is a very nice Yanagisawa TW010 tenor saxophone in gold lacquer finish, serial number 00404730. The TW010 tenor is an elite pro model tenor saxophone, featuring mini-rib construction under the posts, high F# and an under-slung octave key on the neck. This example is in exquisite condition. It was briefly owned and cared for very well. The tenor shows some history of past use as well as a few light scratches here and there, but nothing too serious. Its lacquer is still 99% and has a clean look. There are no major dents and no history of repairs. The neck is flawless, having never been pulled down or damaged.

The saxophone was well maintained while it received an active amount of use by the original owner. It is currently in line to receive a professional set up in our shop. The work will include a dissemble and cleaning followed by a precise key regulation of the key work. While the horn is apart the repair tech will also replace any needed key materials and pads.

The TW010 is an exceptionally flexible professional instrument with an smooth response to air flow and a beautiful warm sound. Intonation on these instruments is superb! A great horn for the classical/concert band setting but can certainly do jazz or rock with the right mouthpiece. Ships in perfect playing condition with a Saxquest pro set up and the original case.
