Bargain for a Solid Step Up Horn!

This is a good horn for the serious student player, a P. Mauriat 185GL alto in gold lacquer, serial PM1120319. This horn was used for a couple years, and is still playing but could use a set up, we will include this repair work and send it on its way for another go!

P. Mauriat is a great sax manufacturer based out of Taiwan since the early 2010s. They've come out with all sorts of models and revisions over the years and built a solid brand from bass sax up to sopranino in the professional world. This is a more budget-friendly student alto sax with great features you can't find in a new horn for this price!

The 185 features gold lacquer from top to bottom, chromatic key-work from low Bb up to high F#, front-F rocker included, tilting table linkage for the left pinky as well. This horn has right side bell keys and a delicate engraving in the front. The keys are all driven by blued-steel needle-springs as well.

Currently this 185 could use a set-up, so we will perform the repair work necessary to get this worked out. After which the horn will be in perfect playing condition. Please allow a 6-week turn-around to complete the work necessary.

This sax will ship in perfect playing condition with its original neck in a P. Mauriat contoured carrying case.
