This is a used “Core” 7* hard rubber mouthpiece for tenor saxophone. These pieces show case the most open and rich response of all the mouthpieces in the Saxquest line. An excellent choice if you are looking for a very full and lush character. This particular piece looks like it has been played on a fair amount in the past. It shows some play wear around the outer body in the forum of light scratches. The condition of the side and tip rails is excellent. It does look like a previous owner of this piece chose to flatten the table.
These pieces play with a fantastic free blowing response. A great choice for players looking for a strong straight ahead jazz sound with a fuller, richer quality.
The tip opening on this piece measures .105”.
