Ted Klum Tonamax
This is a very nice Tonamax hard rubber 7* for tenor sax made by Ted Klum. The piece is in great shape and was very well cared for by the last owner. There is a few ligature scratches if you look closely but overall is in pristine condition. The facing profile of the table, tip and side rails is also in excellent original condition.
Its not secret that Ted Klum makes some of the finest mouthpieces available today. The Tonamax is a fabulous choice for the pro straight ahead jazz tenor player. They are crafted and hand finished individually by Ted at his shop in Little Falls NJ. These pieces feature am open throat, rounded inner side walls and a hand finished rolled baffle. These pieces give the player a smooth organic response to air flow while producing a ultra full and warm character with ample projection.
The tip opening on this piece measures .108”.
