Tonamax 8* by Ted Klum
This is a lightly used Tonamax 8* for tenor by Ted Klum. Ted makes some of the finest mouthpieces available today. The Tonamax is a fabulous choice for the pro straight ahead jazz tenor player. They are crafted and hand finished individually by Ted at his shop in Little Falls NJ. These pieces feature an open throat, rounded inner side walls and a hand finished rolled baffle. The construction of this piece provides the player with a smooth organic response to air flow while producing an ultra full and warm character with ample projection.
This particular piece has been used in the past and shows some light play wear around the outer body. Some small scratching from ligature placement but nothing too serious. The beak is pretty clean and does not show any indentations. This mouthpiece includes the original Ted Klum box.
The tip opening of this piece measures .115”.
